Application Developer

ADP is hiring an Application Developer. This role involves working on scrum teams to design, develop, test, and deploy web applications for internal and external clients, supporting businesses ranging from one to millions of employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in daily scrum meetings to prioritize and track work.
• Choose user stories and complete them within a three‑week sprint cycle.
• Develop and test code using Java (Java8 preferred), Spring Boot, JavaScript, Angular and/or React.
• Collaborate with clients, product managers, architects, and fellow engineers to plan and deliver solutions.
• Perform unit and integration testing before QA hand‑off.
• Assist with deployment and support activities, including handling urgent client issues on designated support days.
• Engage in continuous learning and knowledge sharing with the team.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in relevant skills.
• Expertise in Java (Java8), Spring Boot, front‑end scripting (Angular/React), and web technologies.
• Familiarity with open‑source tools such as Apache Kafka and web services.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
