IBM Consulting in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Application Architect to lead AWS Cloud Migration and multi-cloud delivery. You will design migration architectures, guide strategies, and select tools for hybrid cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and ICP.
You’ll contribute to migration methodology adoption, help with WBS, estimates and MVP, and map client deployment requirements to cloud services.
Qualifications
- Cloud Migration Solution Design experience for multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Migration strategy development with tooling choices for rehosting, refactoring, rearchitecting, replatforming and containerization.
- Experience leading migration methodology adoption and client workshops.
- Knowledge of AWS platform and service catalog; ability to map requirements to AWS services.
- Azure knowledge to map deployments to Azure-specific services.

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting FutureNow Centers, where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
As an Application Architect specializing in AWS Cloud Migration, you will lead the design and delivery of cloud migration solutions for multi-cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and ICP. You will guide the development of migration strategies, tools, and network requirements for hybrid cloud platforms.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Lead Migration Architecture Design: Develop and implement migration architecture solutions for multi-cloud environments, ensuring seamless integration with AWS and other cloud platforms.
- Design Migration Strategy: Collaborate with the team to create effective migration strategies, selecting the right tools and methods for rehosting, refactoring, rearchitecting, replatforming, and containerization.
- Adopt Migration Methodology: Lead the adoption of migration methodologies, tailoring approaches to client environments and industries, and providing expert guidance on method adoption workshops.
- Provide Technical Expertise: Offer significant contributions to Migration Project Managers on technical elements, including WBS, estimation, migration risk, dependencies, and Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
- Map Client Requirements: Utilize deep knowledge of AWS platform and service catalog to map client platform and application deployment requirements into AWS-specific services and configurations.

- Cloud Migration Solution Design: Experience with designing and delivering cloud migration solutions for multi-cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and ICP, with a focus on hybrid cloud platforms.
- Migration Strategy Development: Experience in developing effective migration strategies, including selecting the right tools and methods for rehosting, refactoring, rearchitecting, replatforming, and containerization.
- Migration Methodology Adoption: Experience leading the adoption of migration methodologies, tailoring approaches to client environments and industries, and providing expert guidance on method adoption workshops.
- Technical Expertise in Migration: Experience providing significant contributions to Migration Project Managers on technical elements, including WBS, estimation, migration risk, dependencies, and Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
- AWS Platform Knowledge: Deep knowledge of AWS platform and service catalog, with the ability to map client platform and application deployment requirements into AWS-specific services and configurations.
- Deep Knowledge of Azure: Experience with Azure platform and service catalog, with the ability to map client platform and application deployment requirements into Azure-specific services and configurations.
- Familiarity with ICP: Exposure to ICP platform and service catalog, with understanding of how to integrate ICP with other cloud platforms.
- Containerization Expertise: Experience with containerization methods and tools, including selecting the right approach for rehosting, refactoring, rearchitecting, and containerization.
