Qualifications

• Strong design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) skills, including material selection, dimensional analysis, and tolerance analysis for high‑volume production.
• Knowledge of 3D CAD systems, preferably Siemens NX.
• Understanding of FEA (stress analysis) and proven troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to integrate RF subsystems (Cell, GPS, Wi‑Fi, BT) and electrical subsystems (OLED/LCD, sensors, buttons, speakers, camera modules) into mechanical enclosures.
• Experience with plastic and metal part design, including selection of materials.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD, with capability to develop detailed drawing packages for manufacturing and assembly.
• Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills across teams and suppliers.
• Willingness to travel internationally (20%+).
• Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent experience with 3+ years of related work experience.
