Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Textile Design, or related field.
• 4-5 years of experience in Activewear, Sportswear, Performance Wear, or Athleisure design.
• Strong understanding of activewear silhouettes, garment construction, fit, and functionality.
• Knowledge of performance fabrics, fabric technology, trims, and garment detailing.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and CLO3D or other 3D visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine innovative garment silhouettes, shapes, fits, and proportions specifically for activewear and sportswear.
• Conduct trend research and analyze global fashion, sportswear, and activewear trends to develop new design concepts.
• Create mood boards, sketches, design concepts, and digital mock-ups to effectively communicate design direction.
• Develop designs that balance aesthetics, functionality, comfort, and performance.
• Apply ergonomic cuts and functional design details to enhance movement, breathability, flexibility, and durability.
• Demonstrate an understanding of branding techniques, trims, and detailing suitable for activewear garments.
• Work closely with pattern makers, fabric specialists, product developers, and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are production-ready.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during the product development process and provide design inputs as required.
• Ensure designs are aligned with the brand identity, target consumer, market trends, and commercial requirements.
• Understand and contribute to the development of tech packs and technical specifications.
• Stay updated on new fabric technologies, sustainable materials, garment construction techniques, and innovations in activewear.
• Support the development of 3D garment visualizations and digital design presentations where required.

• Strong understanding of activewear silhouettes, garment construction, fit, and functionality.
• Good knowledge of performance fabrics, fabric technology, trims, and garment detailing.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and other relevant design software.
• Knowledge of CLO3D or other 3D garment visualization software will be an added advantage.
• Understanding of tech packs and technical documentation.
• Strong knowledge of current fashion and sportswear trends.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
