Job summary

Conduent is hiring a Microsoft Power Platform Developer in Bengaluru to design, develop, and maintain enterprise apps using Power Platform, including Power Pages, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.

You will build secure portals, implement data models, and integrate with SQL Server and REST APIs, while adhering to best practices and Agile processes. Strong communication and mentoring skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Power Platform development.
• Strong expertise in Power Pages, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Liquid Templates, and Bootstrap.
• Experience integrating REST APIs, SQL Server, Web Services, and Microsoft Graph APIs.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
• Microsoft Power Platform certifications (PL-400, PL-600, or PL-200) preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Microsoft Power Platform.

• Configure and customize Power Platform solutions with extending functionality as needed.
• Design data models, business rules, forms, views, and security roles in Dataverse.
• Create automation with Power Automate to improve efficiency and workflows.
• Customize Power Pages/Apps using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid Templates, and Bootstrap.
• Integrate with SQL Server, REST APIs, Web Services, and SharePoint.
• Implement secure authentication via Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD.
• Prepare technical documents, deployment guides, and knowledge transfer materials.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, QA, and stakeholders to map requirements to solutions.

Job Description – Microsoft Power Platform Developer (Power Pages & Dataverse)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Pages, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
• Develop secure, responsive, and user-friendly external web portals using Microsoft Power Pages.
• Configure and customize Power Platform solutions using out-of-the-box capabilities while extending functionality through custom development where required.
• Design and implement scalable data models, business rules, forms, views, and security roles within Microsoft Dataverse.
• Develop business process automation solutions using Power Automate to improve operational efficiency and streamline workflows.
• Customize Power Pages and Power Apps using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid Templates, and Bootstrap to enhance user experience.
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with enterprise applications, SQL Server, REST APIs, Web Services, SharePoint, and other internal or external systems.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Azure AD B2C, or other supported identity providers.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Prepare technical design documents, solution documentation, deployment guides, and knowledge transfer materials.
• Perform unit testing, troubleshoot issues, resolve defects, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure high-quality solution delivery.
• Follow Microsoft Power Platform development standards, coding best practices, governance policies, and security guidelines.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews.
• Estimate development effort, provide accurate project timelines, and proactively communicate project progress, risks, and dependencies.
• Support deployment activities, production releases, post-production issue resolution, and ongoing application maintenance.
• Stay current with the latest Microsoft Power Platform features, releases, and best practices, and recommend improvements to existing solutions.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing sessions to junior developers and project team members.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple development tasks and meeting project deadlines.
• Ensure all developed solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with organizational architecture standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize existing applications, automate business processes, and enhance overall solution performance.
