Job summary

Expleo seeks a QA/Data Testing professional in Mumbai with 2–3 years of hands-on API and data-driven testing experience. You will analyze data mapping documents, develop comprehensive test cases, and craft complex SQL scripts to validate data integrity across platforms.

You will also build and maintain automated test scripts, generate detailed test reports, and track quality metrics. Prior experience with Waterfall/Agile cycles and working with relational databases is essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years hands-on experience in API and data-driven testing.
• Experience in analyzing Data Mapping documents and developing test cases, plans, and complex SQL scripts.
• Knowledge of data quality assurance, identifying discrepancies and collaborating with developers to resolve issues.
• Experience in automated testing and creating/maintaining automated test scripts.
• Experience in reporting and presenting detailed test reports; understands testing cycles and release activities.
• Hands-on with relational databases and data models; aware of ER diagrams and data warehouse concepts.

Role & responsibilities

• Must have an minimum of 2 to 3 yrs hands-on experience in API and Data driven testing
• Test planning: Experience in analyzing Data Mapping documents and Develop test cases, plans, and complex SQL scripts
• Data quality assurance: Identifying and documenting discrepancies, and working with development teams to resolve issues and re-test
• Automated testing: Creating and maintaining automated test scripts
• Reporting: Preparing and presenting detailed test reports, highlighting risks and issues
• Strong understanding of various testing cycles and release activities, Good in written and verbal communication
• Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status
• Experience testing Waterfall/Agile Development Projects
• Hands on experience in relational databases and database architecture. Understanding data models and ER diagrams
• Knowledge of dimensional modeling and data warehouse concepts, such as star schemas, snowflakes, dimensions,facts
