Job summary

CashKaro is seeking an experienced test engineer to join our QA team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of testing experience with strong skills in REST Assured, API testing, Java, and automation using Selenium WebDriver.

Proficiency with Postman and JSON parsing is required, along with hands-on scripting for scalable test frameworks and extensive cross-browser testing. You will contribute to building reliable, maintainable automation, translate requirements into test scripts,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of testing experience.
• Strong experience in REST Assured, API testing and Java.
• Proficiency with API testing tools like Postman.
• Automation testing using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
• Ability to write programs to retrieve/parse JSON.
• Understanding of REST API types (GET, PUT, POST, DELETE).
• Knowledge of HTTP, JSON protocols and syntax.
• Hands-on experience at writing automated scripts and thousands of test cases across workflows.
• Design and delivery of scalable, maintainable test automation frameworks.
• Ability to translate requirements into test scripts for complete coverage.
• Knowledge of CI tools like Hudson/Jenkins.
• Understanding of testing best practices and cross-browser testing.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and tools.

Must have skills :

1. Minimum 5 years experience in testing.
2. The candidate should have strong experience in Rest Assured, API Testing and Java.
3. Proficiency in API testing tools like Postman
4. Good knowledge in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
5. The candidate should be able to write a program to retrieve/parse the Json
6. Good understanding of REST API types (GET, PUT, POST, DELETE) and its working.
7. Good understanding of HTTP, JSON protocol and syntax
8. Good knowledge in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
   Be able to work as an individual contributor and be an Expert at writing automated scripts and be 100% hands-on
   Should have automated 1000s of Test cases at various complexity levels and workflows
9. Design, implementation, and delivery of scalable, maintainable, configurable and robust test automation frameworks.
10. Ability to analyze and translate requirements and development stories into test scripts to ensure complete test coverage.
11. Should have strong knowledge of continuous integration tools like Hudson and Jenkins.
12. Strong understanding of testing and automation best practices.
13. Proven experience in functional, regression and cross-browser testing.
14. Willingness to learn new technologies, approaches and test tools
