Job summary

Jobtailor in Bengaluru, India seeks a seasoned Regional Technical Authority for CM&U to lead SCADA upgrades, cybersecurity, and value engineering for the APAC region. You will guide customers through complex technical roadmaps and work with Sales to architect CM&U solutions.

With 12–15 years in engineering, you will travel across APAC, influence stakeholders, and provide critical technical support for software upgrades while driving data-driven growth from the installed base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Software, or related engineering field.
• 12–15 years of relevant experience in SCADA, controls, cybersecurity, and asset management.
• Experience in a customer-facing, consultative role with stakeholder influence and data-driven decision making; willing to travel APAC.

Job description

• Serve as the primary regional technical authority for CM&U (Contractual Modifications & Upgrades).
• Focus on SCADA, software upgrades and cybersecurity solutions.
• Identify growth opportunities leveraging data-driven insights from the existing installed base.
• Provide critical technical support for SCADA and software upgrades.
• Act as the principal GEV representative in high-stakes customer engagements.
• Partner with the Sales team to architect CM&U solutions.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor guiding customers through complex technical roadmaps.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Software, or related field).
• Minimum experience of 12-15 years in the similar or related field.
• Proven experience on SCADA, controls, cybersecurity and digital asset management.
• Demonstrated experience in a customer-facing, consultative role with an ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills: Experience using data and fleet analytics to build business cases for technical upgrades.
• Ability to travel across the APAC region to support customer meetings and site visits.
