Financial Services (FS) is the Bain Practice responsible for developing intellectual property and commercializing Bain’s approach to strategy, transformation, and operations across multiple sectors in this space, including Banking, Insurance, Wealth and Asset Management, Payments.
Develop regional practice plan and budget with RPL; coordinate with global team to ensure consistency of elements and approach; monitor progress
Own regional meeting planning including agenda and facilitators; present elements of the content
Coach and mentor team members in areas of collaboration (Knowledge management team and BCN); ensure teams are receiving opportunities to build skills in content development
Set agendas for regional calls, meetings and trainings, coordinate with RPL and facilitators; manage logistics for regional meetings; present content on some of these calls
Provide input to Practice Senior Manager/RPL on affiliate contributions tracked during the HLA process; gather and coordinate input from sectors, interlocks, and offices.
Coordinate with offices on affiliate staffing, making suggestions to manage utilization and skill development for individuals
Support case teams with commercial requests in region, providing more detailed and nuanced recommendations to rapid response requests, building on KM team initial responses and linking to sector/topic experts, support proposals / content creation as needed
Support Practice Senior Manager/RPL with client priority selections for the region; communicate list and rationale to global team
Set account management calls with RPL, attend and share best practices learned from other account calls, track and follow-up on aligned next steps and actions
Measure interlock progress, including content creation and commercialization; support interlock content creation as needed, in coordination with the sector
Work directly with hosts and content facilitators to prepare for events; pre-wire calls, dry-runs on content and discussions
Support marketing activities in the region, distribution of publications and IP (also via activation of the affiliates)
