Job summary

ArmorCode Inc. in Gurugram, India seeks an experienced accounting professional to manage full AP/AR cycles, vendor payments, and customer invoicing. The role covers reconciliations, month-end close, and internal controls.

You will support finance operations, ensure timely, accurate reporting, and drive process improvements while maintaining strong vendor and customer relationships. Remote-friendly with local office options in Gurugram.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or related field (B.Com/MBA); CA Inter in progress or completed.
• 5-8 years of experience in AP, AR or general accounting.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles: debits/credits, accruals, reconciliations.
• Hands-on experience with Bill.com, QuickBooks, Zoho Books & Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Own full procure-to-pay and order-to-cash cycle, pay vendors on time and bill customers.
• Run day-to-day AP/AR operations, bank reconciliations and keep ledgers audit-ready.

About the Role

This role owns the full procure-to-pay and order-to-cash cycle: paying vendors accurately and on time, and invoicing and collecting from customers efficiently. You will run day-to-day AP and AR operations, perform the bank reconciliation and keep the ledgers audit-ready. You will also improve processes and act as the main point of escalation for vendors & customers.

What Youll Own

Accounts Payable Responsibilities

• Review, code and process vendor invoices (PO and non-PO) with accurate GL coding, cost centre and tax treatment.
• Obtain required approvals before posting and ensure invoices follow company policy.
• Prepare payment runs for review and approval; assist with releasing payments by bank transfer, cheque or wire.
• Maintain the vendor master: onboarding, KYC and bank detail verification, changes, deactivation and duplicate checks to prevent fraud.
• Reconcile vendor statements and the AP sub-ledger to the general ledger; clear unmatched items, debit balances and aged payables.
• Book month-end accruals, prepayments and provisions for received-not-invoiced items.
• Manage foreign-currency invoices and payments, including exchange gain/loss postings.
• Handle vendor queries, escalations and dispute resolution; maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with W9 & 1099 and statutory reporting where applicable.

Accounts Receivable Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue customer invoices, credit notes and statements accurately and on schedule.
• Update customer master data and payment terms as instructed.
• Post and apply customer payments (bank, online, cheque) to the correct invoices; flag unapplied or unidentified receipts.
• Send payment reminders and follow up on overdue invoices by email and phone; log all customer interactions.
• Prepare daily and weekly aged receivables reports and highlight accounts at risk.
• Investigate billing queries and short payments; coordinate with sales and operations to resolve them.
• Assist with AR sub-ledger to general ledger reconciliations.
• Support preparation of customer balance confirmations for audit.
• Assist with bad-debt and credit-loss review by providing aging analysis.

Month-End & Compliance Support

• Complete assigned month-end tasks on time: cut-off checks, accrual inputs and sub-ledger reconciliations.
• Good understanding of Bank reconciliations (US & Local banks)
• Follow internal controls, approval limits and segregation of duties; report any irregularity or suspected fraud immediately.
