Job summary

The Corporate Institute in Gurgaon is seeking an FP&A Lead at AVP/Senior Manager level to build and lead the finance function, reporting to the CEO and Finance Head. You will deliver advanced financial analysis to drive business results and partner with senior management.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create financial statements including pro forma financials.
• Analyze trends in revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capex.
• Monitor performance indicators and explain variances.

• Prepare ad-hoc reports and quarterly/monthly financials.

FP&A Lead (Assistant Vice President / Senior Manager Level) – Fintech / Product Based IT Org / NBFC

Job Description

We are looking for an FP&A Lead at the AVP / Senior Manager level to build and lead the function who will report into the CEO and Finance Head and assist the Finance team in delivering superior analysis of financial and operational goals/metrics.

The ideal candidate is someone with good analytical skills, is self-driven, and has good puzzle-solving skills, as the team’s mission is to provide high-level financial analysis that assists in driving the business to success.

Role & Responsibilities

• Create financial statements including pro forma financials.
• Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures.
• Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.
• Oversee and manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan, and Modeling tools.
• Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis.
• Quarterly and Monthly Financial reports.
• Implement and work with a Business Intelligence Tool and Dashboard reports.
• Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives and capture updated financials instantly and prepare ‘what if’ scenarios.
• Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision-making purposes.
• Supporting Senior Management Team and Departments heads with in-depth analysis.
• Effectively represent the Finance team in client-facing meetings and communications.
• Prepare presentations to Board of Directors and Senior Management Team.

Educational Qualification / Work Experience

• PG / MBA / CA with 5 to 10+ years experience in Corporate FP&A in a Product based Organization / Financial Services Org. / Fintech / Telecom Org / Startup
• Experience in putting together financial statements and experience with pro forma financials.
• Strong leadership skills required.
• (Advanced) Power, BI or any of the Analytical Tools.
• Advanced Financial Modeling experience required.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills (index match, macro).
• Ad-hoc Access DB management/maintenance.
• Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated.
• Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity.
