Job summary
Aequs is seeking a Technical Assistant / Engineer for Anodizing Maintenance to ensure safe and uninterrupted operations of the anodizing lines and chemical process equipment at our plant.
The role focuses on preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and instrumentation systems, and supporting improvement initiatives.
You'll work with PLC, HMI, SCADA systems and ensure compliance with EHS and LOTO procedures.
Qualifications
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical, E&E, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- 3 to 8 years in Anodizing, Electroplating, Surface Treatment, or Chemical Process Plant Maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of anodizing plant equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and instrumentation issues.
- Maintain rectifiers, pumps, filtration systems, heat exchangers, chillers, heaters, scrubbers, and chemical handling systems.
- Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, SCADA, sensors, RTDs, and control panels.
- Ensure compliance with EHS, chemical handling, and LOTO procedures.
- Support Kaizen, TPM, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in installation, commissioning, and maintenance projects.
