Job summary

Sunovaa Tech is seeking an experienced Angular frontend engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise web applications. You will define frontend architecture, implement reusable components, and integrate with RESTful services.

You will write clean, documented code, perform unit tests, and contribute to architecture discussions while mentoring junior developers in an Agile/Scrum setting.

Qualifications

• Education as listed: B.E./B.Tech./MCA/M.Tech./M.Sc. in CS/IT or related field.
• 8–10 years of software development experience with strong Angular/frontend expertise.
• Proficiency in Angular (latest), TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, RxJS.
• Experience with frontend architecture, design patterns, DI, and component-based development.
• Hands-on web development with REST API integration and unit testing.
• Experience with Jasmine/Karma/Jest and Cypress for end‑to‑end testing.
• Strong debugging, performance optimization, and problem solving skills.
• Familiarity with Git and Agile/Scrum workflows; ability to mentor juniors.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise web applications using the latest Angular framework.
• Define and implement frontend architecture, coding standards, and best practices.
• Develop reusable, modular, and high-performance UI components.
• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry standards.
• Perform unit testing using Jasmine/Karma/Jest and end-to-end testing using Cypress.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex application issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Participate in architecture discussions and provide technical guidance to development teams.
• Analyze business requirements and collaborate with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers on Angular and frontend best practices.
• Manage source code using Git and follow Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Ensure application security, responsiveness, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative development team.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Education: B.E./B.Tech./MCA/M.Tech./M.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Experience: 810 years of software development experience with strong expertise in Angular and modern frontend technologies.
• Expert knowledge of Angular (latest versions), TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and RxJS.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, design patterns, dependency injection, and component-based development.
• Hands‑on experience in web application development and REST API integration.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (Jasmine/Karma/Jest) and Cypress for end‑to‑end testing.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
• Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object‑oriented programming concepts.
• Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
• Exposure to frontend architecture topics such as Micro Frontends, Lazy Loading, State Management (NgRx), and reusable component design is preferred.
• Knowledge of backend technologies such as Java, Golang, or cloud platforms like AWS is an added advantage.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Self‑motivated, quick learner, and capable of handling multiple technical assignments simultaneously.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to technical decision‑making and architectural discussions.
