Job summary

Krones Digital Solutions India is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to design, build, and maintain rich Angular UIs for industrial digital products, with TypeScript as core tech.

You will own the frontend architecture end-to-end—from component design and state management to performance optimization and integration with backend services—while delivering a cohesive full-stack experience with UX/UI and backend teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/computer science or equivalent with 9–12 years frontend experience.
• Strong experience with Angular, TypeScript, and modern frontend architectures.
• Experience with testing and CI/CD is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable Angular applications using TypeScript.
• Implement state management and performance optimization.
• Integrate with REST APIs and microservices.
• Write unit/integration tests with Vitest and end-to-end tests with Playwright.
• Set up build tooling and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate Figma designs into interfaces.
• Ensure client-side security best practices (auth flows, XSS/CSRF).
• Work with backend teams to deliver a cohesive full-stack experience.
• Containerize deployments using Docker; familiarity with Kubernetes is a plus.

Role & responsibilities

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer who will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining rich, scalable, and high-performance user interfaces for our industrial digital products, using Angular and TypeScript as core technologies.

They should be able to and own the frontend architecture end-to-end from component design and state management to performance optimization, integration with backend services, and production deployment.

What are you in for? (Roles and responsibilities)

Your responsibilities would include but are not limited to the below:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, modular, and reusable Angular applications using TypeScript, following best practices in component architecture and design patterns.
• Build responsive, accessible, and pixel-perfect UIs using Angular Material, HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS/LESS.
• Implement and manage application state using Angulars httpResource and state management libraries such as RxJS.
• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and microservices, handling data binding, error handling, and asynchronous workflows.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and scalability, including lazy loading, change detection strategy, and bundle size management.
• Write unit and integration tests using Vitest + JSDom, and end-to-end tests using Playwright, to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Set up and maintain build tooling (Angular CLI, Webpack, esbuild, npm) and contribute to CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and prototypes (Figma) into functional, high-fidelity interfaces.
• Ensure security best practices on the client side (authentication flows, XSS/CSRF protection, secure API consumption).
• Work with Swiss engineers and backend teams to ensure seamless integration of frontend and backend services, delivering a cohesive full-stack user experience.
• Containerize and support deployment of frontend applications using Docker, with familiarity with Kubernetes-based deployments.
