Job summary

Agiliad is seeking an experienced Senior Angular UI Developer to design, build, and maintain modern, scalable web applications. You will work with UX designers, backend developers, and product teams to translate complex designs into pixel-perfect interfaces.

You will ensure maximum performance, robustness, and scalability while adopting the latest Angular practices, including signals and zoneless architectures.

Qualifications

• Must have Angular v22+ with modern reactive features like Signals and Zoneless architecture.
• Strong TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6+) skills.
• Deep knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS and responsive design.
• Proficient in RxJS, Observables and reactive programming.
• Expert in Angular architecture: components, modules, services, directives, pipes, routing.
• Experience with NgRx or NGXS for state management and Syncfusion charts.

Job Description: Senior Angular UI Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Angular UI Developer with 58 years of hands-on experience in building modern, scalable, and responsive web applications. In this role, you will collaborate with UX designers, backend developers, and product teams to translate complex design concepts into high-quality, pixel-perfect user interfaces. You will be responsible for ensuring maximum application speed, robustness, and scalability while driving adoption of the modern web framework ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications leveraging modern Angular paradigms and TypeScript.
• Component Architecture: Build reusable, modular, and highly maintainable UI components designed for long-term scalability.
• UI/UX Realisation: Translate complex UI/UX wireframes and visual designs into functional, interactive, and pixel-perfect interfaces.
• API Integration: Seamlessly integrate RESTful APIs and backend web services, handling asynchronous data streams effectively.
• Performance Optimisation: Optimise front-end applications for maximum loading speed, responsiveness, execution performance, and core web vitals.
• Code Quality & Testing: Write clean, well-documented, testable, and standards-compliant code.
• Leadership & Code Governance: Conduct thorough code reviews, enforce best practices, and actively mentor junior developers within the team.
• Problem Solving: Debug, isolate, and resolve complex application bugs and production front-end issues.

Must-Have Technical Skills

• Framework Expertise: Deep production experience with Angular (specifically v22+ preferred), including expertise with modern reactive capabilities like Signals, Signal Forms, and Zoneless architecture.
• Languages: Excellent proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Core Web Technologies: Deep knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and responsive web design principles.
• Reactive Programming: Advanced understanding of RxJS, Observables, and reactive programming paradigms.
• Angular Architecture: Expert knowledge of components, modules, services, standalone components, directives, pipes, and routing.
• State Management: Hands-on experience with state management libraries like NgRx or NGXS.
• Data Visualisation: Proficiency with the Syncfusion charting library to render data-heavy visual layouts.
• Security & Auth: Familiarity with standard authentication mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth.

Good-to-Have Technical Skills

• UI Libraries: Experience with Angular Material, PrimeNG, Bootstrap, or similar component libraries.
• Cross-Framework Knowledge: Familiarity with React is highly advantageous to assist with our upcoming platform migration project.
• Enterprise Security: Experience implementing Single Sign-On (SSO) workflows alongside JWT and OAuth.
• Alternative Visualisation: Practical experience with the Chart.js library.
• Modern Architecture: Understanding or hands-on experience with Micro Frontends.
• CI/CD Tools: Experience working within modern DevOps pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
