Job summary

Merkur Gaming India is seeking a frontend developer with strong Angular 12+ and Node.js experience to drive software design and implementation. You will work across UI layers, leverage TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern tooling to deliver robust solutions.

The role emphasizes mentoring peers, code reviews, and adherence to SCRUM and Agile practices. You will engage with stakeholders across departments, ensure quality, and contribute to continuous improvement in frontend architecture

Qualifications

• Proficient with Angular 12+ and Node.js.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS/SASS.
• Familiar with RxJS, Observables, Reactive Forms, and state management.
• Experience with NgRx/NGXS and modern frontend tooling is preferred.
• Knowledge of micro frontends, Module Federation, and CI/CD practices is a plus.
• Proficient with Git and Jira; comfortable in Agile environments.

Role & responsibilities

• Primary Involvement in software design & development of software solutions.
• Strong analytical skills, and a good exposure to programming implementation
• Debugging/ troubleshooting of tech solutions.
• Ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.
• Ensure adherence to agile framework (SCRUM practices) throughout project life cycle.
• Ensure process compliance for all assigned projects.
• Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders spread across varied departments.
• Involvement in code reviews, unit tests, mentoring, knowledge growth for all peer developers.
• Able to lead, guide, and give direction to the members of a team to achieve.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Angular 12+ and Node.js
• Expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3 and SCSS/SASS
• Strong understanding of Angular Signals, RxJS, Observables, Reactive Forms, Dependency Injection, Routing and State Management
• Strong expertise in Flexbox, CSS Grid, CSS Variables, Animations, Responsive Design, Bootstrap and PrimeNG.
• Strong debugging skills using browser DevTools.
• Experience with NgRx, NGXS, Nx , Turborepo or other state management libraries is preferred.
• Understanding of Micro Frontends and Module Federation is preferred.
• Working knowledge of JIRA, Jasper Reports, Dockers, MAVEN is preferred.
