Job summary

Latinum HR Solutions seeks an experienced Android Automotive software engineer to design, develop, and maintain Android Automotive and middleware components for automotive infotainment and digital cockpit systems.

You will work on Android framework services, hardware integration, and debugging, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end feature delivery and production readiness.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and maintain Android Automotive / Android Middleware components.
• Work on Android framework and middleware layers for automotive infotainment and digital cockpit systems.
• Develop and integrate Android services, system components, and APIs.
• Collaborate with HAL, framework, application, and hardware teams for end-to-end feature integration.
• Analyze and resolve complex system, performance, stability, and integration issues.
• Participate in architecture/design discussions and contribute to technical solutions.
• Debug issues using Android logs, dumps, traces, and relevant debugging tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across software, hardware, system integration, and testing.
• Support software integration, validation, and production issue resolution.

• Design, develop, integrate, and maintain Android Automotive / Android Middleware components.
• Work on Android framework and middleware layers for automotive infotainment and digital cockpit systems.
• Develop and integrate Android services, system components, and APIs.
• Work closely with HAL, framework, application, and hardware teams for end-to-end feature integration.
• Analyze and resolve complex system, performance, stability, and integration issues.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 4–8 years of experience in Android Automotive / Android Middleware / Android Framework development.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and/or Java.
• Good understanding of Android Framework, AOSP, Android services, Binder/IPC, and system architecture.
• Experience with Android Automotive (AAOS) is highly preferred.
• Understanding of HAL, AIDL/HIDL, Linux, and embedded systems.
• Experience with Android build systems such as Soong/Gradle.
• Good debugging and troubleshooting skills using ADB, logcat, dumpsys, traces, etc.
• Exposure to automotive infotainment, digital cockpit, vehicle systems, or embedded platforms is an advantage.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle, debugging, integration, and testing.
