Job summary

New Age in Bangalore is seeking an enthusiastic Android Kotlin Developer Trainee to build, maintain, and optimize Android applications. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome, and the role offers a stipend of up to 15k based on experience.

You will develop Android apps using Kotlin, implement UI with Material Design, integrate REST APIs and GraphQL, and collaborate with QA, UI/UX designers, and team members in Agile ceremonies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred).
• Freshers with relevant Android internship experience or 3+ Kotlin projects can apply.
• Full-time (40 hours/week)
• Must attend Daily Stand-up Meetings (DSMs) and Agile ceremonies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin.
• Build responsive UI following Material Design guidelines.
• Integrate REST APIs, GraphQL, Firebase, and third-party SDKs.
• Fix bugs, improve performance, and optimize app stability.
• Write clean, maintainable code and basic unit tests.
• Collaborate with QA, UI/UX designers, and team members.
• Sprint Completion Score and User Stories Completed metrics.
