Job summary

Wokab in Bengaluru is seeking an Android developer to design and build mobile applications. You will ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness while collaborating with a team to deliver new features.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience and proficiency in Java, Kotlin, and OOP concepts. You will work with offline storage, threading, and networking, use Android Studio for performance tuning, and integrate RESTful APIs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant Android development experience.
• Proficient in Java and Kotlin and strong OOPs concepts.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and networking.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android apps to backend services.
• Understanding of Google's design principles and interface guidelines.
• Experience with push notifications and cloud messaging APIs.
• Proficient in version control systems like Git, Mercurial or SVN.
• Familiarity with continuous integration.
• Experience writing Android Studio test cases.
• Strong logical reasoning and data structures knowledge.
• Must have worked with RXJava and Kotlin on latest Android technologies.
