About The Job

This is an Anaplan Model Builder / Anaplan Functional Consultant role focused on Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and Business Planning Solutions.

Essential Job Functions

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Anaplan models following Anaplan best practices.
• Build scalable modules, lists, hierarchies, dashboards/UX pages, actions, and processes.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional Anaplan solutions.
• Optimize existing models for performance, maintainability, and scalability.
• Create and maintain integrations between Anaplan and enterprise systems (OneStream, HFM, MSFT Dynamics, Workday, Salesforce, Snowflake, etc.).
• Troubleshoot model issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct model testing, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Document solution designs, technical specifications, and operational procedures.
• Support production environments, enhancements, and ongoing platform maintenance.
• Collaborate with business users, solution architects, and project managers throughout project lifecycles.
• Ensure adherence to Anaplan ALM, governance, security, and modeling standards.
• Provide end-user training and knowledge transfer where required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of hands-on Anaplan model building experience.
• Strong understanding of the Anaplan Hyperblock architecture.
• Experience developing complex formulas, modules, lists, line items, versions, and hierarchies.
• Knowledge of Anaplan UX, Management Reporting, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
• Experience with Anaplan Data Hub architecture.
• Proficiency in data integration tools such as Anaplan Connect, Informatica, MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar platforms.
• Strong SQL and Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Anaplan Certified Model Builder (Level 2 or Level 3).
• Certified Solution Architect (preferred).
• Experience with FP&A, Sales Planning, Supply Chain Planning, or Workforce Planning.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Experience with APIs, Python, or ETL development.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
