Job summary

API Holdings in Navi Mumbai seeks a Senior Manager/Lead for Analytics & Data Science to drive data-led decision making across Growth, Product, and Engineering.

You will partner with senior leaders, mentor 4–6 analysts and data scientists, and deliver ML solutions using Python and SQL to create measurable business impact. The role blends hands-on technical leadership with strategic business partnering in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Analytics, Data Science, or related quantitative field, including 2+ years in team leadership/people management.
• Strong expertise in Python, SQL, statistics, and machine learning.
• Hands-on experience with ML libraries such as scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch/TensorFlow.
• Strong understanding of hypothesis testing, regression, ML algorithms, and experimentation.
• Proven experience delivering production analytics/ML solutions with measurable business impact.
• Experience managing and developing teams of 5+ members.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to present complex insights to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end analytics solutions, from data preparation and modelling to validation and production deployment.
• Work hands-on with Python and SQL for complex analysis, data wrangling, and ML modelling.
• Build scalable data pipelines, models, and executive dashboards using modern analytics and BI tools.
• Ensure strong standards for data quality, model validation, monitoring, documentation, and analytics best practices.
• Promote experimentation, A/B testing, and data-driven decision-making across business teams.

• Master's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
