Job summary

Yassir is seeking an Analytics Manager to lead a data-driven transformation across its ride-hailing, food delivery, and fintech verticals. You will manage a team of BI specialists and data analysts delivering actionable insights to drive growth and customer satisfaction.

You will partner with product, operations, marketing, and finance, build dashboards and KPIs, and champion self-service analytics across the organization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in analytics, BI, or similar roles with 3+ years leading teams.
• Experience scaling analytics in high-growth tech/platform environments.
• Proficient with SQL and BI tools (Tableau/Looker/Power BI).
• Familiar with data warehousing, ETL, and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute analytics strategy aligned with business goals across markets.
• Build and scale analytics framework for product, ops, marketing, and finance.

About the Role: We are seeking a visionary Analytics Manager to lead and expand our analytics capabilities. This pivotal role will oversee a dynamic team of business intelligence specialists and data analysts who are responsible for delivering actionable insights across Yassir's ecosystem. You will be a key player in shaping Yassir's data-driven strategy, enabling business growth, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing customer satisfaction across our ride-hailing, food delivery, and financial services verticals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership:
• Develop and implement Yassir's analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives across diverse markets.
• Build and scale a robust analytics framework to support strategic decision-making across product, operations, marketing, and finance.
• Team Development and Management:
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of data analysts and BI professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Ensure professional development and alignment of team goals with Yassir's mission and business priorities.
• Establish best practices for data governance, reporting, and visualization.
• Insights and Decision Support:
• Collaborate with leadership and functional teams to translate business challenges into analytics-driven solutions.
• Oversee the creation of dashboards, KPIs, and ad hoc analyses to support product optimization, operational excellence, and customer retention.
• Drive the adoption of self-service analytics tools to democratize data access and empower stakeholders across the organization.
• Operational Excellence:
• Partner with data engineering to ensure the quality, integrity, and scalability of Yassir's data infrastructure.
• Manage and prioritize analytics initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and measurable impact.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience:
• 8+ years in analytics, business intelligence, or similar roles, with at least 3 years managing teams.
• Experience scaling analytics functions in fast-paced, high-growth environments, ideally within tech or platform businesses.
• Technical Expertise:
• Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Looker, or Power BI).
• Familiarity with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery) and ETL processes.
• Strong analytical skills and a proven ability to convert data into actionable insights.
• Leadership and Collaboration:
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills to align technical teams and business leaders.
• Experience leading multicultural teams across diverse geographies.
• Proven track record of hiring, retaining and growing top talent in various data-related disciplines
• Education:
• Master's degree in computer science, Statistics, Economics, or related fields; advanced degrees are a plus.

Nice-to-Have:

• Proficiency working in French.
• Experience in ride-hailing, food delivery, or fintech industries.
• Knowledge of advanced analytics techniques, including machine learning or predictive modeling.
• Experience working in the geographies where Yassir operates.
