Job summary

The role of Analyst – Traditional Trade is with an MNC Bank in Mumbai. MBA in Finance graduates from 2025/2026 batches are eligible to apply and will join a team supporting Global Trade Solutions growth.

The position involves client portfolio management for Traditional Trade, product development, and collaboration with Risk teams to mitigate credit and operational risks. It also includes preparing client pitches and newsletters and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and contribute to the development of new products and propositions for Global Trade Solutions (GTS).
• Support a portfolio of clients to enhance Traditional Trade (TT) revenue and business growth.
• Engage with multiple internal and, where required, external stakeholders for product/deal approvals and implementation.
• Assist the GTS team with the credit process, including gathering required client information and helping prepare TT memos.
• Prepare client pitch presentations and GTS Newsletters.
• Support Traditional Trade and network banking activities.
• Ensure that approval conditions are regularly tracked and reported.
• Support the growth of Structured Trade and Syndicated transactions, and other strategic product launches.
• Facilitate the migration of clients to NextGen International Trade Platforms (Connexis BG, Connexis Trade V6).
• Manage tail accounts.
• Cross-sell FX+ products.
• Anticipate and minimize credit, regulatory, and operational risks in close collaboration with Risk and Coverage teams.
• Manage portfolio effectively to avoid the cost of risk.
• Contribute to improving credit-related business processes.
• Monitor country envelopes, where applicable.
