Job summary

Northern Trust in Pune invites a Software Support Analyst to maintain and enhance multiple web applications. You will collaborate with development teams, business support, and end users to deliver end-to-end solutions, writing unit tests and building automation tools.

Required are 2–3 years of experience with Java, Oracle PL/SQL, Spring frameworks, and cloud platforms; exposure to microservices and DevOps tools; and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience with Java 8/17, Oracle PL/SQL, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Cloud.
• Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Unix shell scripts, Kafka, React JS, Dynatrace and ServiceNow.
• Understanding of SDLC, microservices, APIs, and basic UI development.

Responsibilities

• Support and implement end-to-end solutions with development teams, business support, and end users.
• Modify scripts and programs using basic coding knowledge.
• Identify improvements and challenge status quo while mentoring teammates.
• Support existing systems and hook applications to data sources; write tests and build automation.
• Create and maintain disaster recovery plans and participate in DR testing.
• Share knowledge during transfer sessions to understand the supported applications.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Partner with the development team, business support, end users, and other IT personnel to support and implement end to end solutions.
• Use basic programming knowledge to create or modify scripts and programs.
• Constantly looks for better ways of solving technical problems and designing the solution by not being afraid of challenging the status quo.
• Mentor and coach others on the team.
• Support existing software systems and platforms and hook in applications to applicable data sources
• Write both unit and integration tests and develop automation tools for daily tasks
• Create and maintain Disaster Recovery plans and participate in DR Testing
• Participate in knowledge transfer sessions to understand the application that is being transferred to support.
