The candidate should have 3–8 years hands-on experience in pesticide analysis, familiarity with FSSAI/NABL ISO 17025, and be able to mentor junior analysts and assist

Qualifications

• M.Sc. in Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry with 3–8 years of hands-on pesticide/chemical experience.
• Working knowledge of GC-MS/MS and LC-MS/MS extractions.
• Exposure to FSSAI regulations and NABL ISO/IEC 17025 quality systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pesticide residue analysis in food and agricultural commodities using GC-MS/MS and LC-MS/MS.
• Execute QuEChERS-based extraction and sample clean-up per validated methods.
• Conduct sample testing, data entry and documentation per SOPs and FSSAI/NABL ISO 17025 requirements.
• Support method validation, verification and troubleshooting of residue testing methods.
• Maintain instrument calibration, logbooks and GLP/ALCOA+ compliant records.
• Review analytical data and mentor junior analysts (Senior Analyst level).
• Support NABL/FSSAI/client audits with accurate documentation. Report OOS/non-conforming results per SOP.
