Job summary

Levi Strauss Bengaluru is seeking a proactive Analyst for its Europe Global Accounting team. You will review cash and credit recons, prepare month-ends, and support audits while coordinating with partners globally.

The role emphasizes process improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and accurate reporting. Relevant 3–7 years’ accounting experience and SAP S4 HANA familiarity are valued.

Qualifications

• CA/ICWA/Master’s degree in accounting & finance with 3–7 years of experience.
• CPA is a plus.
• Experience communicating with business partners at all levels.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review Levi’s stores cash and credit card recons, journal entries and communicate results to business partners.
• Prepare and review monthly reconciliations and journal entries for European GL accounts and ad hoc reports.
• Complete bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly close activities timely.
• Lead projects and respond to data requests.
• Collaborate with team and partners across the globe.
• Act as SME for assigned areas and implement process efficiencies.

Summary of the role

We are looking for a proactive Analyst who will bring enthusiasm and a desire for continuous improvement to our Levi Strauss Europe Global Accounting team. If you are this person we would love to get to know you and we can certainly assure you that your talents will never be overlooked.

About the role

• Performs review of Levi’s stores cash and credit card recons, journal entries and communicates results to business partners effectively
• Prepares and/or reviews monthly reconciliations and journal entries for assigned European general ledger accounts, as well as, ad hoc reports/ schedules
• Completes bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly close activities timely
• Leads projects and responds to data requests
• Collaborates with team and various business partners across the globe
• Acts as a key subject matter expert (SME) for assigned areas and implements process efficiencies wherever possible
• Assists with internal and external audit requirements; supports European statutory reporting requests as needed

About you

• CA/ICWA/master’s degree in accounting & finance with 3-7 yrs of experience. CPA is a plus
• Customer service mindset required, including the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment with professionalism and diplomacy
• Ability and desire to communicate effectively with business partners at all levels
• Must possess a team first mentality, including flexibility regarding job responsibilities in order to achieve team deliverables
• Knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, SUMIFS, etc.)
• Experience with SAP S4 HANA (or other large ERP system) is a strong plus
