Levi Strauss & Co. in Bengaluru is seeking a proactive Analyst to join the Europe Global Accounting team, bringing enthusiasm and a drive for continuous improvement.

You will review cash and card recons, support monthly close, collaborate with global partners, and act as SME for assigned areas while aiding audits and statutory reporting.

Qualifications

• CA/ICWA/master’s degree in accounting & finance with 3-7 yrs of experience. CPA is a plus
• Customer service mindset required, multi-task in a fast paced environment with professionalism and diplomacy
• Ability to communicate effectively with business partners at all levels
• Must possess a team first mentality, including flexibility regarding job responsibilities in order to achieve team deliverables
• Knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, SUMIFS, etc.)
• Experience with SAP S4 HANA (or other large ERP system) is a strong plus

Responsabilités

• Review Levi’s stores cash and credit card recons, journal entries and communicates results to business partners effectively
• Prepares and/or reviews monthly reconciliations and journal entries for assigned European general ledger accounts, as well as, ad hoc reports/ schedules
• Completes bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly close activities timely
• Leads projects and responds to data requests
• Collaborates with team and various business partners across the globe
• Acts as a key subject matter expert (SME) for assigned areas and implements process efficiencies wherever possible
• Assists with internal and external audit requirements; supports European statutory reporting requests as needed
