Job summary

April Housing is seeking an Analyst in Bengaluru to handle essential accounting processes within the Accounting department. You will maintain and prepare bank reconciliations, manage end-to-end cash accounts, and support project closings with accurate accounting entries.

Collaboration with AR and preservation teams is required to ensure precise financial recording. Ideal candidates will have strong reconciliations experience and a proactive approach to audits, cash distributions, and loan draws.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and prepare bank reconciliations for various accounts
• Monthly ZBA accounts (ensure money that comes in, is transferred immediately out)
• Month-end cash accounts (ensure all money coming in is appropriately recorded by the accounts receivable team)
• Reconcile pre-close costs for project closings, ensuring all costs are appropriately captured.
• Work closely with the accounts receivable team to ensure all bank accounts are reconciled
• Daily Transaction Reconciliation
• Surplus cash calculation
• Accounting entries for construction accounts
• Work closely with the preservation team to book entries related to the construction of new properties
• Book loan draw entries as appropriate

• Book loan draw entries as appropriate
