Job summary

ICE Clear Europe Limited, within Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), seeks an Analyst, Market Data to join the Master Data Management team. The role focuses on managing high-level data sets and onboarding acquisitions, working with Data Warehouse, Sales, Finance, and stakeholders to ensure data uniformity.

Candidate should be results-oriented, self-motivated, with strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with relevant education and experience.
• 3+ years of secondary research experience including summary, collation, and synthesis of existing research.
• Experience in Excel and database technologies including pivot tables, Visual Basic/SQL query writing.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong knowledge of Financial Markets Data.

Responsibilities

• Analyse client information and populate the database of record accurately and timely.
• Document requirements clearly for each project.
• Assist in evaluating information from multiple sources to determine the best path forward.
• Perform changes to master data following established processes (create, change, activate/deactivate).
• Identify areas for data quality improvements and help resolve data quality problems.
• Utilize Salesforce, ServiceNow, Filezilla, and Capital IQ to reconcile data outputs.
• Collaborate with team members and cross-functional teams.
• Work the UK shift: 1:00 PM IST to 10:00 PM IST.

The Analyst, Market Data will join the Master Data Management team within Intercontinental Exchange (ICE). The Master Data Management team is responsible for building and maintaining corporate company-wide data uniformity. This position will be responsible for managing high-level data sets (Business Entity, Client Segmentation, Contact Data, etc.) and onboarding new acquisitions on schedule. The successful candidate will work on new and existing projects in close collaboration with teams that include Data Warehouse, Sales, Finance, and internal stakeholders.

The analyst must be results-oriented, self-motivated and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.The candidate must have the ability to work independently; must have excellent verbal and written communication skills; must have excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyse various levels of client specific information and to ensure that it is populated into the database of record in an accurate, complete, and timely manner.
• Document requirements clearly and concisely for each project being undertaken.
• Assist in evaluating information gathered from multiple sources and determining best path forward.
• Perform changes to master data following established processes including but not limited to create, change, activate/deactivate or otherwise modify master data.
• Identify areas for data quality improvements and help resolve data quality problems through the appropriate procedures or improvements.
• Utilize Salesforce, ServiceNow, Filezilla, and Capital IQ to reconcile data outputs.
• Work closely with other team members and cross-functional team members.
• Standard office hours include 1:00 PM IST to 10:00 PM IST (UK Shift).

Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree with equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ Years of Experience in Secondary research which involves summary, collation, and synthesis of existing research.
• Experience in Excel and database technologies including pivot tables, Visual Basic/SQL query writing.
• Excellent communication skills. Position must communicate clearly, respectfully, and effectively with many different types of people and departments across the firm.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the Financial Markets Data.
• Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
