Job summary

NatWest Group in India is seeking a Markets Data Management Analyst at senior analyst level. You will act as a point of contact for client onboarding lifecycle management, queries from the client and front office, and facilitate onboarding and trade execution for clients.

You’ll be working with internal and external stakeholders, enabling you to hone your communication skills and gain exposure for your work, while supporting the global reference data strategy and agenda.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the financial services industry, with a specialism in client life cycle management.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a structured and methodical approach.
  • Crucial ability to communicate and present effectively to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining an understanding of front-to-back client life cycle.
  • Suggesting areas of improvement for daily processing and escalating these appropriately.
  • Formulating plans, delivered in-line with risk, cost and time requirements.
  • Acting as a point of contact for static data queries and requests.
  • Driving development, implementation and regular review of policies and procedures including regulatory due diligence, AML, know your customer and suitability training.

Join us as a Markets Data Management Analyst

  • We’re looking for a creative and analytical individual to look for innovative ways to improve our processes
  • As a Markets Data Management Analyst, we’ll expect you to act as a point of contact for cclient life cycle management requests, queries from the client and front office contacts and also responsible for the facilitation of client on-boarding process and trade execution for clients
  • You’ll be working in partnership with internal and external stakeholders, allowing you to hone your communication skills and gain great exposure for your work
  • We're offering this role at senior analyst level
What you'll do

You’ll be supporting the orchestration tasks for the client onboarding process which includes document sourcing, act as a point of contact for the stakeholders’ s queries of the onboarding requirements, static setup and maintenance of client and standard settlement instructions, which will facilitate the on-boarding, off-boarding and in-life cycle events of our customers. We’ll look to you to make sure that your stakeholders fully understand the global reference data strategy and agenda. And you’ll be managing the expectations of internal support functions with insight into client requirements and the development of business.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining an understanding of front-to-back client life cycle
  • Suggesting areas of improvement for daily processing and escalating these appropriately
  • Formulating plans, that are delivered in-line with agreed risk, cost and time requirements
  • Acting as a point of contact for static data queries and requests
  • Driving the development, implementation and regular review of policies and procedures including regulatory due diligence, AML, know your customer and suitability, ensuring colleagues have adequate awareness and training
The skills you'll need

We’ll expect you to have experience in the financial services industry, with a specialism in investment banking, client life cycle management, reference data management, client on-boarding and client off boarding exits. You’ll need to have excellent analytical skills, with a structured and methodical approach when investigating data issues. Crucially, you’ll have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving and changing environment.

You’ll also need:

  • Experience of analysing and diagnosing issues and taking ownership of them
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build, maintain and enhance relationships at all levels
  • Good Microsoft Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
