Job Description
PositionSummary:
The Learning & Development Specialist - Analyst I supportsthe day-to-day execution of learning and development activities, includingtraining administration, learning content support, training logistics, andprogram coordination.
Working within established processes and with guidance frommore experienced team members, this role completes assigned activitiesaccurately and on schedule, maintains program information and documentation,and supports effective coordination between the India-based team andU.S.-based stakeholders.
TheSpecialist is expected to develop proficiency across Learning &Development processes, systems, and tools while demonstrating strongattention to detail, responsiveness, and willingness to learn. Success inthis role requires consistent execution, effective communication,organization, and a service-oriented approach.
Responsibilities:
Training Administration & Logistics
- Support schedulingand coordination of training sessions and learning activities.
- Prepare participantcommunications, rosters, training materials, invitations, and relatedlogistics.
- Maintain accurateschedules, trackers, records, and program documentation.
- Complete assignedlearning-administration activities according to established procedures andtimelines.
- Follow up on routineaction items and communicate delays or issues to appropriate team members.
- Support virtual orin-person training logistics as required.
Learning Content Support
- Support thedevelopment, formatting, updating, and maintenance of learning materials.
- Make approved editsand revisions to presentations, participant materials, facilitator resources,and job aids.
- Maintain organizedfiles and appropriate version control.
- Conduct qualitychecks to identify formatting, consistency, or accuracy issues.
- Supportcontent-review cycles and incorporate feedback as directed.
Process & Team Support
- Follow establishedworkflows, processes, templates, and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain accuratedocumentation of assigned activities.
- Support team handoffsand recurring operational activities.
- Identify routineprocess issues and share observations with more experienced team members orleadership.
- Learn and effectivelyuse required Learning & Development systems, tools, and processes.
- Provide support foradditional team priorities during periods of increased workload.
Stakeholder & Communication Support
- Communicateprofessionally with internal stakeholders regarding assigned activities.
- Respond to routinequestions and requests within established service expectations.
- Coordinate withIndia-based colleagues and U.S.-based partners as needed to complete assignedwork.
- Provide timely statusupdates and issues when guidance is needed.
- Demonstrateresponsiveness and follow through on commitments.
Education& Experience:
- Bachelor's degree inLearning & Development, Human Resources, Organizational Development,Education, Business, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience maybe considered.
- Typically 2+ years ofrelevant professional experience in Learning & Development, trainingcoordination, HR, program administration, operations, or a related area.
- Experience working ina deadline-driven environment with multiple priorities.
- Exposure to globalteams, shared services, or a Global Capability Center is preferred but notrequired.
