Position Summary:

The AnalystI - Business Insights leads higher-complexity work within the Human ResourcesGroup (HRG), owning major deliverables, improving delivery quality, andtranslating business, data, technology, product, or process needs intoreliable outcomes. This role operates with greater independence than theunprefixed level and is expected to lead workstreams, resolve ambiguity,mentor peers, and manage stakeholder expectations across HR, analytics,technology, operations, and transformation partners.

The Analyst I - Business Insights supports HRG by turning HR, workforce,operational, product, and transformation data into clear insights,narratives, and recommended actions. This role partners with HR leaders,analytics teams, business stakeholders, product owners, process teams, andreporting partners to interpret trends, visualize data in a compelling way, identifyrisks and opportunities, and prepare insight materials for business reviewsand decision-making.

Therole bridges analytics and business context. It is responsible for asking theright questions, validating data interpretations, running statistical models,developing executive‑ready insight summaries, and helping stakeholdersunderstand what is happening, why it matters, and what actions should beconsidered.

Responsibilities:
Senior‑Level Ownership & Delivery Leadership
  • Lead complex deliverables, workstreams, analyses, designs,builds, or implementation activities with limited oversight.
  • Translate ambiguous stakeholder needs into clear scope,success measures, requirements, plans, technical outputs, or recommendations.
  • Review deliverables for accuracy, usability, governancealignment, stakeholder readiness, and business value before release orhandoff.
  • Mentor less experienced team members by sharing standards,reviewing work, and reinforcing documentation, testing, and deliverydiscipline.
  • Identify delivery risks, data or process limitations,technical dependencies, and stakeholder alignment issues early and recommendpractical mitigation actions.
  • Hypothesis testing, statistical analysis, data storytelling,and interpretation of findings
Insight Development & Business Interpretation
  • Analyze workforce, HR operations, transformation, product, andservice data to identify patterns, root causes, risks, opportunities, andrecommended actions.
  • Develop insight narratives, business review materials, andexecutive summaries that translate data into practical decisions.
  • Connect quantitative findings with qualitative inputs such asstakeholder feedback, operational context, process changes, and adoptionsignals.
Performance Monitoring & Decision Support
  • Support recurring business reviews, leadership updates, metricreviews, and portfolio performance discussions.
  • Track performance against goals, baselines, service levels,adoption targets, and transformation outcomes.
  • Highlight material changes, emerging trends, and datalimitations that require leadership attention or deeper analysis.
Stakeholder Partnership & Framing
  • Work with business stakeholders to clarify the decision beingsupported, define the business question, and determine the most relevantmetrics or evidence.
  • Partner with reporting analysts, BI developers, data analysts,product analysts, and data owners to validate definitions, sources, andanalysis outputs.
  • Prepare presentations, briefing materials, storylines, andfollow‑up analysis for cross‑functional audiences.
AI‑Enabled Insight Generation
  • Use approved AI tools to support hypothesis generation,pattern exploration, meeting synthesis, draft narratives, and alternativeways to explain findings.
  • Validate AI‑assisted summaries, avoid unsupported conclusions,and ensure recommendations are grounded in approved data and businesscontext.
  • Identify opportunities to improve insight speed, consistency,and accessibility through AI‑assisted analytics workflows.
AI Preparedness Expectations:
  • Applies approved AI tools to accelerate complex deliverables,documentation, quality review, analysis, code, design, workflow support, orstakeholder materials while validating outputs before use.
  • Identifies appropriate AI augmentation opportunities withinassigned workstreams and helps teammates adopt safe, practical, andrepeatable AI‑enabled practices.
  • Reviews AI‑assisted outputs for accuracy, bias, completeness,privacy risk, governance alignment, and business context before release orrecommendation.
  • Builds deeper capability in AI‑enabled HR analytics, workflowautomation, decision support, and human-in-the-loop review over the nextthree years.
  • Uses AI to accelerate synthesis, hypothesis generation,narrative drafting, and stakeholder‑ready summaries without substituting AIoutput for judgment.
  • Can evaluate whether AI‑assisted conclusions are supported bysource data, business context, and approved metric definitions.
  • Builds capability in AI‑assisted data storytelling, augmentedanalytics, responsible AI interpretation, and decision intelligence.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics,Engineering, Economics, or a related field; equivalent experience may beconsidered.
  • Typically 3+ years of experience in a related environment.
  • Experience leading a defined workstream, analysis, product,technical deliverable, process improvement, reporting solution, or changeinitiative with cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Experience reviewing deliverables, validating outputs,managing dependencies, and communicating risks or recommendations tomanagers, senior managers, or directors.
  • Experience mentoring others, improving team standards, orcontributing to repeatable methods, documentation templates, or qualitypractices.
  • Experience analyzing business, HR, workforce, operations,product, or transformation data and preparing insights for stakeholders.
  • Experience creating summaries, presentations, scorecards, orbusiness review materials that explain performance trends and actions.
  • Experience working with cross‑functional stakeholders toclarify business questions and translate analysis into recommendations.
Must Have Skills
  • Ability to independently lead complex workstreams ordeliverables from intake through execution, validation, and stakeholdercommunication.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability toclarify expectations, manage dependencies, communicate risks, and influencedecisions without direct authority.
  • Demonstrated ability to review work for quality, accuracy,business relevance, data sensitivity, and operational readiness.
  • Ability to mentor peers or junior team members and reinforcestandards, documentation practices, and repeatable delivery methods.
  • Strong statistical and critical-thinking skills, including theability to move from data observations to business implications.
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into clearstorylines, executive summaries, and recommended actions.
  • Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and at least onereporting, dashboarding, or analytics tool.
  • Comfort interpreting HR, workforce, operational, product, ortransformation metrics and explaining data limitations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for bothanalytical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage recurring deliverables and ad hoc requestswith strong attention to detail.
  • Foundational AI literacy for insight drafting, summarization,pattern exploration, and quality checks using approved tools.

  • Experience serving as a subject matter expert, workstreamlead, or delivery lead in HR, analytics, technology, transformation, sharedservices, or a regulated environment.
