Job summary

CACTUS Communications Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Finance Professional based in Mumbai to support FP&A activities in a remote-first setup with travel to the Andheri East office at least 3 times per week.

You will handle MIS reporting, budgeting support, variance analysis, and financial insights for decision-making, working with cross-functional teams and ensuring timely, accurate monthly closes.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience, with MIS/Reporting experience preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large, unstructured datasets.
• Good grasp on numbers and basic knowledge of finance and accounting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain insights to non-finance stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and comfort working to fixed monthly deadlines.
• Prior experience/exposure to budgeting process.
• Experience with data tools such as Power BI is an added advantage.
• Exposure towards building flexible and easy-to-use models for stakeholders to support decision making.
• Prior experience in driving automation initiatives.

Overview

CACTUS is a remote-first organization and we embrace an accelerate from anywhere culture. For this critical role, we are looking for the candidate to be based in Mumbai. You may choose to work from home in Mumbai; however, you will be required to travel to our Andheri East office at least 3 times a week for business requirements, meetings, or company/team events, or on short notice as needed.

We are looking for someone to support the Finance Business Partner (FP&A) in areas pertaining, but not limited to: MIS Reporting - preparation to publishing and insights, Expense reporting and tracking against budgets, Variance analysis, Budgeting support and other FP&A related operations.

Responsibilities
