Job summary

Cactus Communications Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Finance Professional to support FP&A with MIS reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis. You will work from Mumbai, with remote-friendly options and required travel to the Andheri East office several times weekly for meetings and events.

Responsibilities include preparing MIS reports, tracking expenses against budgets, facilitating budgeting, and communicating insights to non-finance colleagues. A 2–3 year background in finance/FP&A is ideal.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience, with MIS/Reporting experience preferred.
• B.Com / M.Com / Semi-qualified CA / CMA preferred.
• Strong Excel and ability to work with large and unstructured datasets.
• Good grasp on numbers, with a basic knowledge of finance and accounting.
• Good communication skills and ability to explain numbers and insights to non-finance colleagues and stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and comfort working to fixed monthly deadlines.
• Prior experience/exposure to the budgeting process.
• Hands-on experience in using data facilitating and tools, such as Power BI is added advantage.

CACTUS is a remote-first organization and we embrace an accelerate from anywhere culture. For this critical role, we are looking for the candidate to be based in Mumbai. You may choose to work from home in Mumbai; however, you will be required to travel to our Andheri East office at least 3 times a week for business requirements, meetings, or company/team events, or on short notice as needed.

We are looking for someone to support the Finance Business Partner (FP&A) in areas pertaining, but not limited to: MIS Reporting - preparation to publishing and insights, Expense reporting and tracking against budgets, Variance analysis, Budgeting support and other FP&A related operations.

Our selection process typically involves an initial screening by a recruiter, a technical assessment, and two to three interview rounds. For this role, we will have a screening call followed by 3 rounds of interviews including the HRBP round.
