Agile Technology is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) professional to support the rollout and ongoing improvement of our safety programs. You will assist in data management, incident investigations, risk assessments, and compliance activities across manufacturing operations.
The role requires 5–10 years in EHS, a Bachelor’s degree (Master preferred), and fluency in English and Hindi. Marathi is an added advantage; on-site work in Maharashtra is expected.

Entry to developing individual contributor role working under close supervision. Responsible for supporting the success and growth of the organization s Environmental Health Safety (EHS) programs by assisting in the execution of health, safety, and environmental initiatives.
Supports continuous improvement activities related to accident investigation, cause identification, compliance monitoring, environmental sustainability, and workplace safety programs. Assists in maintaining compliance with EHS regulations, policies, and operational standards while promoting a strong safety culture across the organization.
Record and manage EHS data including incidents, near misses, good saves, and Corrective Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Ensure timely reporting, data accuracy, integrity, and analysis through approved systems.
Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and walkdowns.
Identify compliance gaps related to electrical, machine, and facility safety requirements.
Verify implementation of safety controls and corrective actions.
Conduct Hazard Identification Risk Assessment (HIRA) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for critical operations.
Recommend preventive and corrective measures to minimize workplace risks.
Coordinate hazardous and non-hazardous waste management activities.
Ensure proper identification, storage, disposal, and maintenance of required documentation.
Maintain and update EHS systems in accordance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to EHS performance.
Participate in accident, incident, and near-miss investigations.
Conduct root cause analysis and support development of CAPA plans.
Ensure lessons learned are documented and communicated effectively.
Conduct safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and new-hire safety orientations.
Support employee awareness programs and site-specific certification activities.
Support site facilities in managing effluent and air abatement systems.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) requirements.
Operate with delegated functional EHS authority to support implementation of global EHS policies and site requirements.
Identify, document, and communicate EHS risks, hazards, and non-conformances.
Recommend corrective and preventive actions for unsafe conditions and behaviors.
Intervene and recommend immediate risk mitigation measures where unsafe acts or conditions are identified.
Escalate high-risk concerns to EHS leadership as per escalation protocols.
Support and reinforce the Stop-Work culture and safety-first mindset.
Conduct EHS inspections, compliance reviews, and workplace observations.
Verify implementation of required controls under local regulations and organizational standards.
Collect, validate, enter, and analyze EHS data in approved systems.
Ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of reporting activities.
Support contractor safety management, permit compliance, EHS communications, and training coordination activities.
Maintain unrestricted access to relevant site areas, documents, and personnel for EHS assurance activities.
Escalate unresolved or critical EHS concerns through appropriate channels without fear of retaliation.
Exercise independent professional judgment within delegated authority while aligning with site leadership and EHS governance requirements.
Bachelor s degree in Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Safety Engineering, or related field.
Master s degree preferred.
5 10 years of experience in EHS within manufacturing, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or industrial environments.
Strong knowledge of EHS legislation, occupational health, chemical safety, and risk assessment methodologies.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and EHS/data management systems.
Fluent in English and Hindi.
Marathi language proficiency is an added advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to interpret and analyze complex EHS data.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
