Job summary

dsm-firmenich is seeking a Lead Data Engineer / Associate Manager in Hyderabad to design and scale enterprise data platforms. You will guide data engineering initiatives, mentor teams, and build robust pipelines with cloud and AI tech while collaborating with global stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience building and maintaining enterprise-scale data pipelines and data platforms.
• Strong expertise in SQL, Python, PySpark, dbt, Databricks, Git, and Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS), CI/CD implementation, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Proven ability to deliver scalable, reliable, and well-documented solutions with strong testing and automation practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Leadership experience in team management, project delivery, and driving technical excellence; exposure to scientific datasets, FAIR principles, or data governance is a plus.
