Job summary

Qualifications

• Semi-qualified CA with 1 year articleship in statutory audit.
• Graduated with 1–2 years audit experience in a CA firm.
• Familiarity with basic audit processes and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Execute basic audit procedures including substantive testing, analytical procedures, journal entry testing.
• Perform basic risk assessment and internal control testing, including SOX/ICFR testing, walkthroughs and evaluation of basic control deficiencies.
• Prepare and maintain basic audit documentation, ensuring compliance with the firms audit methodology and addressing review comments.
• Analyze financial data and identify unusual transactions, variances with appropriate escalation to senior team members.
• Day to Day coordination with clients and onshore/offshore engagement teams for basic audit requirements, audit queries and support in timely completion of assigned deliverables.
• Support and review work performed by junior team members (articles), while ensuring engagement timelines.

Role & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

• Semi Qualified CA with minimum 1 year of articleship experience in statutory Audit
• Completed under graduation and have 1-2 years of Audit experience working in CA firm.
