Pierag Consulting is seeking an Experience Associate for their Hyderabad location. The successful candidate will execute audit procedures under GAAP and PCAOB standards, prepare audit workpapers, and support junior associates. Candidates should have 2-4 years of audit experience in a US Public Accounting Firm, preferably in financial services, and hold a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or finance. • 2-4 years of audit expertise in US Public Accounting Firm preferably with Financial Services experience.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Qualified CPA or candidates pursuing CA / CPA.

Responsibilities

• Perform substantive testing and analytical procedures in accordance with GAAS and PCAOB standards.
• Prepare audit workpapers that support financial statements prepared under GAAP.
• Identify potential issues and escalate appropriately.
• Support junior associates as a buddy and guide them on audit processes.
• Begin performing basic review of work prepared by entry level associates.
• Ensure compliance with professional and firm ethical standards during all engagement phases.

• Required to complete assigned tasks under supervision and must notify their supervisor if anything unusual or unexpected occurs.
• Not expected to make independent decisions that impact clients or budgets.
