Cytiva, part of Danaher, is hiring an Analyst – Competitive Intelligence to deliver actionable insights from global markets. Based in Bengaluru, this on-site role focuses on compiling recurring CI updates, monitoring competitors with AI-assisted methods, and supporting ad-hoc research for global business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in secondary research and/or competitive intelligence.
• Comfortable in a high-tech, complex business environment.
• Strong attention to detail with thorough and accurate outputs.

• Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own the creation and delivery of recurring Competitive Intelligence newsletters, ensuring timely, clear, and accurate updates on competitor activities for business stakeholders.
• Leverage AI tools and internal platforms to support efficient data collection, monitoring, and synthesis of competitive information, aiming to improve automation over time.
• Support CI team on ad-hoc research and analysis projects as required.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of internal and external data sources, tools, portals, and databases, ensuring inputs are reflected in CI outputs.
• Build foundational expertise on key competitors through ongoing learning and stakeholder interaction.

The Analyst – Competitive Intelligence is responsible for delivering actionable insight and helping global teams and businesses understand their external environment. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Competitive Intelligence and is part of the Customer and Market Insights team located in Bengaluru, India and will be an on‑site role.

What you will do:

• Own the creation and delivery of recurring Competitive Intelligence newsletters, ensuring timely, clear, and accurate updates on competitor activities for business stakeholders
• Leverage existing AI tools and internal platforms to support efficient data collection, monitoring, and synthesis of competitive information, with a focus on improving automation over time
• Support the Competitive Intelligence team on ad‑hoc research and analysis projects as required
• Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of internal and external data sources, tools, portals, and databases, ensuring relevant and reliable inputs are consistently reflected in CI outputs
• Build foundational expertise on key competitors relevant to our business through ongoing learning, structured guidance from the team, and regular interaction with stakeholders

Who you are

• 2–3 years of experience in secondary research and/or competitive intelligence
• Comfortable working in a high‑tech, complex business environment
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail, with the ability to deliver thorough and accurate outputs
• Keen to collaborate and work effectively across a global, cross‑functional team
• Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or another relevant field

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• B2B and/or Pharmaceutical/ healthcare /life science research sector experience
• Competitive intelligence
• Handling customer research data
