Job summary

Medline India is seeking an Analyst – Cash Applications to manage daily cash postings, apply payments to customer accounts, and resolve discrepancies in a fast-paced finance environment, ensuring accurate cash flow and timely invoicing.

You will process Cheques, EFT, ACH, and Credit Cards in QAD, investigate unapplied cash, meet productivity targets, and maintain compliance with internal controls and company policies.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in Cash Applications or Accounts Receivable.
• Strong understanding of payment processing and cash application activities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High accuracy with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas).
• Good time management and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume customer payments (Cheques, EFT, ACH, and Credit Cards) accurately in QAD.
• Investigate, process, and resolve payment discrepancies, deductions, short payments, and exceptions.
• Apply customer payments to accounts and resolve unapplied cash in QAD ERP.
• Meet daily productivity and accuracy targets while supporting projects and process initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, audit requirements, and SOPs.

Role Purpose

The Analyst – Cash Applications is responsible for executing daily cash application activities by accurately processing customer payments, applying cash to customer accounts, resolving payment discrepancies, and ensuring timely invoice clearance. The role supports efficient cash flow management while maintaining compliance with company policies, internal controls, and service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities

• Process high-volume customer payments (Cheques, EFT, ACH, and Credit Cards) accurately in QAD and within defined turnaround times.
• Investigate, process, and escape payment discrepancies, deductions, short payments, and exceptions to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Apply customer payments to customer accounts and resolve unapplied or unidentified cash transactions in QAD ERP.
• Meet daily productivity and accuracy targets while supporting assigned operational projects and process initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, audit requirements, and standard operating procedures.
