Job summary

Unisys is seeking a competent accounting professional in Bengaluru to manage general ledger tasks, reconcile BS statements, and respond to customer inquiries. The role involves end-to-end ownership of monthly processes, SLA compliance, and pro-active process improvements.

Strong Excel and MS Office skills are essential, with 3–5 years of accounting experience. You'll interact with regional customers via calls and emails, supporting daily to quarterly deliverables and maintaining data backups.

• Undergraduate degree within Commerce/Finance/Accounting with relevant accounting experience.
• 3 to 5 years of accounting experience in General Ledger, Journal postings, BS/All reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly Balance sheet Reconciliations (Prepaid, Accrual, Revenue, AR, AP, Bank, FA).
• Interact with region-specific customers through calls and emails.
• Complete daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly tasks as specified and on time.
• Meet SLA requirements with customers.
• Proactively improve delivery methods and processes.
• Maintain backups and provide required information to customers.

Job description

What success looks like in this role:

• Prepare monthly Balance sheet Reconciliations ( Prepaid, Accrual, Revenue, AR, AP, Bank, FA reconciliations)

• Regular Interaction with region specific customers through conference calls and E-mails.

• Shall be responsible for daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly tasks (end to end) as specified by the customer and strictly adhere to the timelines

• Meet the SLA requirements as agreed with our customers

• Pro-actively look at things in a broader sense to apply and improve delivery methodology and process

• Fully responsible for keeping backups and providing customers with necessary information as and when required

• Effective communication skills expressed through conversation, Emails, instructing, written memos, written work instructions and flow charts.

• Experience in Advanced Excel (Formulas, Functions, Pivot tables, Macros) will be added advantage.

• Expect to work on Ad Hoc requests related to above processes.

• Microsoft Office suite skills (required)

• Strong presentation skills including the ability to successfully represent data and ideas.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• Undergraduate degree within Commerce/Finance/Accounting with following mentioned experience, expertise and skill sets.

• 3 to 5 years of accounting experience in General Ledger, Journal postings, BS/All reconciliations .
