Job summary

Newmark Group India is seeking a junior analyst to support market data collection and analysis for real estate valuations used in dispute resolution, mortgage underwriting, and portfolio analysis.

Under direct supervision, you will gather data from internal and external sources, assist in appraisal report preparation, and develop skills in valuation software and third-party data sources relevant to market reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, mathematics, business or real estate law.
• Strong analytical, writing and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and report appraisal related market data through internal and outside sources.
• Assist in understanding all company research related database programs.
• Assist in the preparation of appraisal reports under supervision of a State Certified Appraiser.
• Understand software programs used to prepare valuation reports.
• Understand and utilize necessary third-party data sources.
• Aggregate, analyze, interpret, and report complex appraisal related market data.

Under direct supervision, assist in the collection and analysis of data for senior staff to use to formulate an opinion of the market value of real estate for the purposes of dispute resolution, mortgage underwriting, acquisition/disposition, portfolio analysis and estate purposes.

• Collects, analyzes, and reports appraisal related market data through internal and outside sources.
• Responsible for understanding all company research related database programs
• Assists in the preparation of appraisal reports under the direct supervision of a State Certified Appraiser.
• Understands all necessary software programs used to prepare valuation reports
• Understands and utilizes necessary third-party data sources
• Responsible for the aggregation, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of complex appraisal related market data through internal and outside sources.

Skills, Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree; preferably in related subjects such as Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Business or Real Estate Law
