Job summary

Societe Generale Bengaluru is seeking a Market Data Management Analyst to source, control and validate market data across asset classes, ensuring referential data integrity and timely updates.

You will liaise with trading desks, risk and accounting, manage vendor terminals Bloomberg and Refinitiv, and drive data quality initiatives while supporting SOPs.

Qualifications

• Hands on experience in Global Market Data principles and exceptions.
• Relevant experience in Product Reference Data Management (Static).
• Knowledge on Equities/Derivatives/Commodities/Fixed Income/Forex market.
• Understanding of Reference data flow (trade lifecycle).
• Expertise on vendor terminals (Bloomberg and Refinitiv).

Responsibilities

• Sourcing, Controlling and Validating Market Data for all asset classes.
• Data Integrity controls of Model data contributed by Trading desks.
• Ensuring day-to-day activities of instruments in referential systems.
• Mitigate risk to Trading, Accounting, Market Risk, PnL with timely updates.
• Act as first point of contact for stakeholder queries and liaise with vendors.
• Track production issues and propose remediation plans.
• Deliver training within the team and share best practices.
• Initiate and participate in global data quality enhancement projects.
• Volunteer for periodic review of SOPs and related documents.
