Dalfen Industrial is seeking an Analyst to support revenue growth by underwriting real estate investments across the U.S. and assisting in capital formation.

The role focuses on analyzing property-level financials, market fundamentals, and investment assumptions to evaluate returns and risk, while building detailed financial models and assisting with transaction execution.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree from a top tier accredited institution.
• 2+ years of work experience.
• Strong desire to work in real estate finance.
• Highly motivated with strong work ethic.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a demanding work environment.
• Detail-oriented.
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Real estate specific coursework or work experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in Argus, Costar and Real Capital Analytics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite prospective real estate acquisitions by analyzing property-level financials, operating performance, market fundamentals, and investment assumptions to evaluate potential returns and risk.
• Analyze acquisition opportunities and prepare detailed financial models, including cash flow projections, valuation analyses, sensitivity analyses, and return metrics.
• Evaluate property and portfolio-level operating statements, rent rolls, lease terms, capital expenditures, and other financial and operational data to identify key investment considerations.
• Assist with transaction execution by providing ongoing financial analysis and underwriting updates as new information becomes available throughout the acquisition process.
• Complete ad hoc financial, market, portfolio, and investment analysis projects as needed.
