Purpose of the Role:
This role is to perform the Global CARE (Conveyor Automation Robotic Engineering) related controls tasks especially in AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot) & AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle). As a specialist, you will be responsible for the development of Hardware, software and fleet manager of the autonomous transport systems. You will play a key role in integrating mobile robots into industrial environments, with a strong focus on controls and Servo Drive programming.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Work with corporate counterparts - understand the requirement and communicate effectively.
AMR / AGV controls related hardware architecture development, validation and finalise.
AMR / AGV Software related architecture development, Validations and finalise. Especially RAS based system.
AGV / AMR programs creation in PLC, new Screens creation in HMI, link the Tags, I/Os, interlock with VFD (Siemens, SEW) and other devices. Configure and deploy AGV/AMR systems using Siemens SIMOVE platform.
Program and troubleshoot Siemens PLCs (S7-1200/1500) and Servo Drives for motion control.
Integrate robots with factory IT/OT infrastructure including HMIs and SCADA systems.
Fleet Management & Optimization - Monitor and manage AGV/AMR fleets for optimal performance.
Experience with AI-driven robotics and virtual commissioning.
Utilize Siemens Operations Copilot for task assignment, diagnostics, and real-time data analysis.
Implement route planning, obstacle avoidance, and dynamic re-routing strategies / Knowledge of fleet management software and sensor integration.
Communicate effectively and work in collaboration with all customers, suppliers and plant staffs.
Working in shifts to manage the EE & NA region timing when required. ODIL, Unified HMI experience is the added advantages Ability to work in dynamic environments and manage multiple robotic systems.
Key Skills
Hands-on experience in Siemens TIA Portal PLC & HMI programming. Experience in field communication Profinet, Profibus, Ethernet IE, CC Link.
Hands-on in Siemens PLC SIM software platform
Knowledge in SIMENSE Virtual commissioning - How to perform, input to the virtual communication.
Knowledge in handling verify the E plan drawings, control panel circuits, power wirings.
Software skills:
Siemens TIA portal, HMI softwares. Simulation softwares

Python, JAVA, C Sharp & Other automation, AI skills - is added advantages
