Akasa Air, Bengaluru-based, is seeking qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to join the Engineering team as Structure AME on the Boeing 737 MAX fleet. The role focuses on structural inspections, repairs, and defect rectification in line with approved data and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate holds a valid Structure Authorization or CAR-66 B1 with suitable AME training, with at least five years of relevant experience and OEM-approved training.

Qualifications

• Valid Structure Authorization on a modern transport aircraft.
• CAR-66 Licence in Category B1, or AME Diploma with CAR-66 B1.1 modules completed.
• OEM-approved structural training or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant structural maintenance experience.

Responsabilités

• Perform structural inspections, repairs, and damage assessments.
• Carry out repairs according to data, SRM, AMM, and OEM instructions.
• Certify structural inspection and repair activities.
• Coordinate with Technical Services, Compliance Monitoring, and OEM.
• Review corrosion findings, dents/buckles, and repair schemes.
• Ensure maintenance complies with DGCA regulations.
• Support base and line station maintenance activities.

Location: Bengaluru

Akasa Air is looking for qualified and motivated Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to join our Engineering team as Structure AME on the Boeing 737 MAX fleet.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural inspections, repairs, and damage assessments on aircraft structures.
• Accomplish repairs in accordance with approved data, SRM, AMM, engineering orders, and OEM instructions.
• Carry out and certify structural inspection and repair activities
• Coordinate with Technical Services, Compliance Monitoring and OEM for structural defect rectification.
• Review corrosion findings, dent/buckle damages, and repair schemes.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with DGCA regulations and company procedures.
• Support maintenance activities at base and line stations as required.

Eligibility Criteria

• Hold a valid Structure Authorization on a modern transport aircraft.
• Hold a CAR-66 Licence in Category B1, OR
• Hold a AME Diploma and have successfully completed all applicable CAR-66 B1.1 modules
• Have completed OEM-approved structural training or equivalent approved training.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant structural maintenance experience.

Preferred Experience

• Boeing 737 NG/MAX structural maintenance experience.
• Structural inspections, blend repairs, sheet metal repairs, corrosion control, and damage assessment.
• Experience working with SRM, AMM, IPC, and engineering repair documents.
