Job Summary

The Ambulator Clinical Pharmacist will collaborate with the primary care team at Summit Pacific Medical Center (SPMC) to provide medication and chronic disease state management with an emphasis on optimizing medication therapy and safety for patients.

Required Education And Experience
  • PharmD from an accredited school of pharmacy
  • A post‑graduate year residency or two years’ experience in the ambulatory clinical pharmacy field
Required Licenses, Certifications And/or Registrations

Active Washington State Department of Health pharmacist’s license

Preferred Board‑Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist (or Equivalent)

Current BLS certification.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team of health care providers

Skilled in‑patient communication and education

Skilled in‑patient assessment, medication adjustment, monitoring, and all other relevant aspects of patient care.
