• Inspect ambulance before each shift: fuel, oil, transmission fluid, wiper fluid and coolant.
• Coordinate with EMR staff on medical supplies inventory and stock.
• Drive ambulance quickly yet safely to hospital to transport patients.
• Sanitize the ambulance and dispose of medical waste and soiled linens properly.
• Maintain driving log with daily entries, timings, mileage and services performed.

Job Role:

• Inspecting the ambulance before each shift, checking the fuel, oil, transmission fluid, wiper fluid, and coolant, and reporting any needed repairs
• Checking the first aid and coordinating with EMR staff regarding medical supplies inventory levels before each shift and ensuring the ambulance is well stocked
• Driving an ambulance as quickly and as safely as possible to transport patients to the hospital
• Sanitizing the ambulance and safely disposing of any medical waste and soiled linens
• Maintaining driving log and daily entries, travel timings, mileage and service performed
