Job summary

UBS is seeking a Data Platform Change specialist to join the AM Chief Data Office in Pune and Zurich. You will analyze business requirements, translate them into specifications and user stories, and partner with data SMEs and architects to shape the target data architecture.

With 8–10 years in data or business analysis within financial services, you will drive data quality, document processes, and support onboarding to new platforms while collaborating with stakeholders across UBS Asset

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Product Owner, preferably in financial services and asset management.
• Strong command of SQL for data extraction, analysis, and reporting; proficiency in MS Excel and other data analysis tools.
• Experience with complex datasets to support decision-making and data architecture design.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with key stakeholders across UBS Asset Management to analyze business requirements and translate them into structured specifications and user stories.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of current data flows, processes, and systems (As-Is Process & Data Flow Analysis).
• Work closely with data SMEs and architects to develop the target operating model and data architecture.
• Leverage data analytics to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in data to improve data quality.
• Ensure all data systems and processes are well-documented, including process flows, and drive user acceptance testing.
• Analyze consumer data usage patterns and lead onboarding initiatives, ensuring seamless transitions to new platforms.
