A global telecommunications company is looking for a Chartered Accountant to join their financial reporting compliance team. In this operational role, you will be responsible for ensuring financial compliance, preparing profit loss accounts, managing General Ledger entries, and liaising with auditors. The ideal candidate will have 0 to 2 years of experience and exceptional knowledge of Advanced Excel and SAP. This position is based in Mumbai, India and offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic financial environment.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant with 0 to 2 years of experience in Controllership or Finance.
• Strong knowledge of advanced Excel and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with finance software and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly profit loss accounts and variance analysis reporting.
• Open item clearing of all General Ledger accounts in SAP.
• Accrual accounting for accurate financial statements.
• Preparation of bank reconciliation to maintain minimum open line items.
• Review monthly Intercompany reconciliations.
• Issuance of Debit notes for Intercompany transactions.
• Liaison with Statutory Auditors to ensure timely closure of Audit reports.
• Preparation of Balance sheet and schedules.

Job DescriptionThe role is part of the financial reporting compliance department. The role holder shall be responsible to ensure financial compliance and will support implementation of policies, standards processes in the respective areas. This is an operational role, responsible for delivering results that have direct impact on the achievement of results within the assigned account and business.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly profit loss account and variance analysis reporting for the management.
• Open item clearing of all General Ledger accounts in SAP to maintain Hygiene of books of account.
• Accrual accounting for accurate financials. Payroll Prepaid Accounting.
• Review Reconciliation
• Preparation of bank reconciliation and to ensure minimum open line items.
• Review monthly Intercompany reconciliations to ensure complete and correct accounting in all entities.
• Issue of Debit notes for all Intercompany transactions and ensuring regular settlement.
• Foreign exchange revaluation and analysis of Foreign exchange gain/(loss).
• Liaison with Statutory Auditors of the respective entity and ensure timely closer of Audit reports for respective entity.
• Preparation of Balance sheet and schedules.
• Support internal and external audits, proving audit requirement and resolving all queries of the auditors with respect to each entity.
• Support for Income Tax returns filling, Transfer pricing return
• Preparation of data for other survey filling for the region.
• Work on Quarterly and Monthly Financial Review related inputs

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: Chartered Accountant with 0 to 2 years of Experience in Controllership or Finance
